Acceptable Usage Policy

This Acceptable Usage Policy ("Policy") sets forth the rules and guidelines for using the McQuizzy website at mcquizzy.com (the "Service") operated by McQuizzy Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you violate this Policy, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Service.

1. Permitted Use

The Service is designed to help users prepare for certification exams through AI-powered quizzes, study plans, and learning tools. You may use the Service for:

  • Creating and taking practice quizzes for exam preparation
  • Generating study materials using our AI-powered tools
  • Tracking your learning progress and exam readiness
  • Sharing quizzes and study materials with others in accordance with our terms
  • Using the Service for educational purposes within organizations and teams

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, create, share, or generate content that:

  • Contains actual exam questions from any certification body or exam provider. this is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of exam confidentiality agreements
  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party
  • Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Contains personally identifiable information of others without their consent
  • Promotes illegal activities or provides instructions for illegal activities

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party's use of the Service
  • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service for any purpose without our express written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the server on which the Service is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Service
  • Attack the Service via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications ("spam")
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our express written permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Use the AI features to generate content that is misleading, fraudulent, or designed to deceive
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or access controls on the Service
  • Share account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account (unless on a team plan)

4. API Usage

If you access the Service through an API, you must comply with the following additional terms:

  • Respect all rate limits and usage quotas
  • Do not use the API to build a competing product or service
  • Include proper attribution when displaying content from the Service
  • Do not cache or store API responses beyond reasonable periods

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this Policy, please report them to us at legal@mcquizzy.ai. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this Policy, including without limitation:

  • Issuing a warning
  • Removing or disabling content
  • Suspending or terminating the violator's account
  • Reporting to law enforcement authorities
  • Taking legal action

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Policy on the Service and updating the "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
